Kühnast Strahlungstechnik was established by Mr. Kühnast in 1984 in W?chtersbach.

During the first years he reached his turnovers by selling lamps of his own production. Many machine-producers and graphical dealers got their lamps from Kühnast company. But the product range was soon expanded by measurements.

The first UV–measurements for the tan-industry were produced in 1988 in W?chtersbach. Because of the successful integration into the tan-industry and the acceptance of the market, we decided to wide the sectors of the UV-technology. Today, we belong to the leading producers of UV-technology in all areas.

Kühnast Strahlungstechnik is able to supply the complete product range of all leading lamp producers. In 1990 a branch was established in Dresden and the first Quickstart-Copying-lamp was developed, too. This lamp is useable for horizontal and vertical exposuring. Everybody can save up to 80 % energy because of no Stand-by-time.

From 1993 onwards, the first machines for screen exposure, printing plate exposure, film developing and film proofing were sold.

Because of the recession of the exposure sector, we began to realize the UV-Quickstart-technology for the areas: drying and curing in 1997. Our effort is, to extend this market.

To enable this, the Kühnast Strahlungstechnik GmbH was found on 01st January 2003.

Today, we are producing UV-Quickstart drying machines for all applications.
