SATAKE 公司 UK Division
日本 SATAKE 公司擁有一家英國老字號的磨粉機械公司，在此敘述英國分公司的歷史。早在1878年時，所有的磨坊都是采用石磨將谷物磨制成粉，但是Henry Simon先生在那一年推出了他所設(shè)計的第一座采用滾輪磨粉機的制粉工廠，這位機械設(shè)計天才將原本石磨的時代改變?yōu)闄C械滾輪磨粉的新時代。他的工廠位于英國的曼撤斯特，磨粉系統(tǒng)稱為「Gradual Reduction」。
在1881年時，Henry Simon先生為 McDougall Brother 建造一座整套全世界最先進的自動滾輪磨粉面粉工廠，這項成就震驚了整個工業(yè)界。到了1892年，英國、歐洲、非洲、印度、南非、澳洲及日本等地，已經(jīng)有四百多家面粉工廠采用「Simon」系統(tǒng)的磨粉設(shè)備。短短二十年之內(nèi)，他已經(jīng)將面粉的傳統(tǒng)磨制方式革命性的改變成他發(fā)明的系統(tǒng)。
在英國Lancashire地區(qū)的 Rochdale 有家 Thomas Robinson & Son 父子公司，在1838年時從事木材生意，約在1882年他們發(fā)現(xiàn)經(jīng)營磨粉設(shè)備是一項擴充事業(yè)的好機會，利用現(xiàn)有的商店、工廠及裝配零件改為生產(chǎn)銷售制粉設(shè)備大有可為，1884年 Thomas Robinson & Son 父子公司宣告他們可以生產(chǎn)制造全套的面粉工廠磨粉設(shè)備。
Henry Simon 有限公司成立于1897年，而 Thomas Robinson & Son 父子公司則成立于1880年，早期 Henry Simon 將他所設(shè)計的機器在歐洲販賣時，他在1902年建造屬于自己的機械工廠。這兩家公司各自在制粉設(shè)備市場上經(jīng)營了超過一個世紀，占有大部份的外銷市場比例。到了1988年10月份的時候，兩家公司合并為Robinson Milling Systems Ltd.，又在1991年時被 SATAKE 集團并購為 Satake Robinson UK Ltd.，不久改名為 Satake UK Ltd.。1998年正式稱為 Satake UK Division，Satake的英國分部。
