TexVol Instruments specialises in the development and marketing of analytical instruments for the food industry, with a particular focus on baked products. The company was founded after Mr Urban Girhammar, whilst doing his PhD thesis, (non-starch polysaccarides from cereals and their properties in dough and bread), realised that the current methods for measuring volume were inadequate.

In year 2000 TexVol launched its first volume measuring instrument utilising modern day technology. TexVol is currently working on several new developments that will broaden it product base and further assist the food industry in quantifying its analytical work in an easy way.

TexVol works in close collaboration with its existing customer base both in order to improve existing instrumentation but also in developing new products.
