Acambis is a vaccine company developing novel vaccines that address significant unmet medical needs or substantially improve upon current standards of care. Acambis and sanofi pasteur have enjoyed a long and successful relationship for more than ten years and, prior to the acquisition, had partnership agreements relating to three of Acambis' key vaccine development programmes.

A licensed smallpox vaccine, ACAM2000?, for which we have a contract with the US Government;
Three late- and mid-stage programmes derived from our proprietary ChimeriVax? technology platform* against Japanese encephalitis, dengue and West Nile; and
Early-stage programme targeting potentially significant markets in the fields of C. difficile, influenza and genital herpes.
