他又設(shè)計(jì)了兩個(gè)主要軟件Chart(記錄儀軟件)和Scope(示波器軟件)，這兩個(gè)軟件用于控制多導(dǎo)生理記
錄儀，并包含一定的顯示和分析功能。這就是PowerLab的前身。
一開始，Michael僅僅在新西蘭制造和銷售MacLab。直到80年代末，他遇到了澳大利亞人Boris
Schlensky先生，兩人一拍即合，開始一起改良MacLab并拓展全球的市場(chǎng)。從此，PowerLab
/MacLab漸漸成為了全球首屈一指的多導(dǎo)生理數(shù)據(jù)記錄和分析系統(tǒng)。
90年代初，隨著中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)的崛起，中國(guó)的科學(xué)家開始尋找更優(yōu)秀的多導(dǎo)生理記錄儀。就在這個(gè)時(shí)
期，PowerLab被部分科學(xué)家?guī)нM(jìn)了中國(guó)。由于PowerLab系統(tǒng)使用簡(jiǎn)便、功能強(qiáng)大，很快受到了廣
大中國(guó)研究工作者的喜愛，漸漸成為了主流的多導(dǎo)生理記錄儀。為了更好的服務(wù)中國(guó)的科學(xué)家們，
ADInstruments于1997年在上海成立了辦事處，2000年成立了中國(guó)公司。如今，數(shù)百臺(tái)
