Founded in Moscow, Idaho, CID, Inc. became established in the agricultural research world when it introduced its state-of-the-art photosynthesis system, the CI-301. The success and practicality of the instrument, along with that of the leaf area meter, prompted the owner, Shane Chen, to expand his business further into agronomy research and manufacturing fields. A move for the future led CID, Inc. to our current home in Camas, Washington in 2001. With a team of dedicated and experienced people, we have been able to meet all the known standards set by industry in the United States and in the whole world.

For the past several years, we have also made an effort to display and demonstrate our products at various annual meetings and conferences within our specialty fields.
