Hansatech Instruments is a small, British, scientific instrument company located in the heart of rural Norfolk. For over 35 years, our efforts have been concentrated towards the design & manufacture of high quality oxygen electrode and chlorophyll fluorescence measurement systems for the studies of cellular respiration & photosynthesis research. Our product range covers a wide range of applications within the following fields of study:
Oxygen electrode measurement using sophisticated Clark type oxygen electrodes. Using these systems, it is possible to measure dissolved oxygen in liquid-phase samples or oxygen evolution/uptake in gas-phase samples depending on the configuration of the oxygen electrode system.
Chlorophyll fluorescence and optical absorbance measurements employing leading edge analytical techniques. The measurement of chlorophyll fluorescence re-emissions allows the photosynthetic apparatus of a sample to be probed effectively to study photosynthetic efficiency under varying biotic and abiotic limiting factors.
